Ban on Kala for Cauvery is Wrong – Prakash Raj
Actor Prakash Raj has voiced his opinion against the ban called by pro-Kannada organizations on the Tamil film ‘Kaala’ in Karnataka, saying that these fringe groups have no right to decide what the majority of Kannadiga’s want or don’t want.
The actor took to Twitter and said the Cauvery issue is an emotive one for the people of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and urged people to be more practical about it. A statement made by actor Rajinikanth has hurt us deeply. But a ban would hurt producer’s investment and the effort of hundreds of artists and technicians who have worked in the film? What about the price that a common man has to pay for this strife and chaos?.
The Confederation of pro-Kannada organizations has called for a ban on the film ‘Kaala’ due to the statements by actor Rajinikanth on the Cauvery issue.
