Opposite to the title Lukkunnodu, Lucky played by Manchu Vishnu is an unlucky young guy. His father thinks that everything turned unlucky after he was born, which makes their relation grow apart. One fine day he gets a bag with Rs. 25 crore from the villain who robs it from a bank. He then meets a girl Padma played by Hansika who has great positive attitude. He falls in love with her. Due to some drastic decisions he makes he and his family end up in a danger. What is the danger? What does Lucky do with the 25 crore? Will he manage to win his father’s trust? How the love story progresses between Lucky and Padma are to be seen on big screen.
- Vishnu has been quite energetic in his role.
- After quite a long time Hansika played a lead role in Telugu movie. She is definitely a lucky charm for the flick.
- Posani and Prabhas Seenu characters were shaped well.
- The same old story with some changes here and there.
- The flow of the story is quite predictable.
The technical and production values are good. The editing could have been much better. The screenplay is poor. The music came out well.
Though the story and screenplay are not quite fresh, they have a way to make into the audience. Instead of sitting idel at home, you can enjoy Lukkunodu in theaters this weekend.
