Vangaveeti is a directorial venture of Ram Gopal Varma. The movie is a biopic of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga who is a political criminal who lived in Vijayawada. The movie features Sandeep Kumar, Naina Ganguly in the lead roles. Sandeep Kumar essayed the role of Vangaveeti in the flick. The movie is produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar under Ramadootha Creations. The movie has hit the screens on 23rd December.
Vangaveeti is the story of a former MLA Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga and his brother Vangaveeti Radha. The movie depicts the caste war that took place between Vangaveeti and his rival in Vijayawada during 70s and 80s. RGV has ones again come up with a biopic and this time it is about a criminal politician who rules Vijayawada in 70s and 80s. The movie showcases the life of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. His personal life, political life and criminal life are covered in the movie.
RGV has captured the scenes beautifully. The slow motion visuals are captured very well and the emotions came out well too. Rahul Srivastav and
K. Dilip Varma have done cinematography with great grace of 90’s. The dialogues were intense and at the same time not risky. RGV managed to say what he wanted to say through the movie.
