Dasari Narayana Rao Speaks On Remakes
Dasari Narayana Rao, the elderly pillar uniting Telugu film industry always speaks his mind openly. He strives to keep our industry on top, in terms of technology, commerciality and content. Looks like, Dasari is a bit worried about the approach of few star heroes who are adopting remake subjects for most of the time. His intention may be directly or indirectly aimed at Mega family heroes but what he said was absolutely right because there’s loads of talent in Telugu states. Problem is internal politics never allows those talents to shine bright.
‘Why are we getting carried away by involving in remakes of other language films when we have good content providing writers and directors in our own Telugu language? Let us stop this and encourage our people,’ Dasari said while speaking at a recent event.
Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming project and Ramcharan’s ‘Dhruva;’ coi-incidentally all three are remakes. Who else other than Mega family heroes are so much dependent on remakes?
