Prior to the start of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s charitable activities on a grand scale, Mega Fans would mostly celebrate the new films releases with palabhishekalu (pouring milk down) to Chiranjeevi’s cutouts, garlanding the posters, food donations at the theaters. A few fans would also indulge in animal sacrifices.

Mega Fans got their mindsets changed in 1998 when Chiranjeevi launched Eye and Blood banks. Having been inspired by Chiranjeevi’s organized charitable activities, Mega Fans have also started charitable and social service activities with their best in localities which they belong to.

Mega Fans celebrated Chiranjeevi’s ‘Shashtipoorthi’ as a glittering event last year. And recently, around 70,000 fans donated blood on the occasion of Mega power Star Ram Charan’s birthday. And now, they are planning ‘Megastar Chiranjeevi Nava Janmadina Pooja Mahotsavalu’ from 14th August to 22nd of August in connection with Chiranjeevi’s birthday on 22nd of August. Various puja and religious activities will be performed in various temples across the Telugu states. All in all, Mega Fans stand as an inspiration to most other young heroes fans.
