After a long gap Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal is making his comeback to Tollywood industry with the flick “Manamantha”, where the star has even learned Telugu language and has dubbed his voice over. This flick was simultaneously made in both Telugu and Malayalam languages, where the Malayalam version is titled as “Vismayam”.
Today the film is released, i.e., on 5th August, where the famous filmmaker Chandra Sekhar Yeleti has directed this family drama. As its a film of Yeleti, we can expect some unique kind of story with gripping narration. Lets now watch “Manamantha” movie review.

Director Chandrasekhar Yeleti has come up with a unique middle class life stories of four individuals, where all the four stories goes parallel.
“Manamantha” movie kickstarts with the simple introduction of Sai Ram played by Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal. Sai Ram is a assistant general manager for a supermarket. He is trying hard for getting promotion as General Manager post, as his boss played by Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao is planning for his retirement.
But yet another person Vishwanath (Harshavardhan) is also trying for the General Manager post, so always these both Vishwanath and Sai Ram lock horns and tries to gain some plus points to get the General manager post.
Sai Ram is so much eager to get the GM post, where he is ready to do anything to get the promotion, mean while suddenly Vishwanath gets kidnapped.
Another lead Gauthami is shown on screen as Gayathri who is a middle class married woman, who takes care in managing her house expenses and will be making sure that her husband, son and daughter are happy. Gayathri’s neighbor friend is Mahalakshmi (Urvashi). Always these both makes sure to save money. Meanwhile Gayathri will be getting an offer of job in Singapore through her lecturer.
Third individual Abhi (Vishwanath) is a computer engineering student, who is brilliant at his studies and always dreams big about his future and wants to grow high. But all his dreams will be left when he meets Aira (Anisha Ambrose). Soon Abhi falls in love with Aira and revolves around her and all of a sudden a twist occurs in their love story, which changes Abhi’s life.
The fourth character in the story is Mahita (Raina Rao), she is a school going kid, who carries positiveness in her and spreads the same to all around her. Mahita is an innocent kind hearted girl, who is taught to speak truth and help the needy people. One day she meets a four year old kid named Veer, who is a roadside kid.
Both Mahita and Veer develop a good bound, where one day Veer follows Mahita to her school. Mahita makes Veer to sit junior KG without knowing to elders, all was good, suddenly Veer was caught and then the Principal (Nassar) taunts Mahita for her deeds, but later with good hearts offers Veer free admission into the school. But the next day Veer will go missing.
Now what will be happening for all these four individual stories? Will all the lead characters meet each other or not? For knowing the answers for these questions, you should watch the film on the big screens.
Mohanlal : He is amazing as a middle class man, where he has lived as the character. Its really a treat for us to watch him on the big screen.
Gautami: The actress has once again proven her acting skills, she looks beautiful and natural as a housewife.
Viswant : The talented actor of “Kerintha” fame has done well in his role.
Raina Rao: This small girl has stolen the hearts of viewers with her surprising acts and has received good applause.
Vennela Kishore, Nassar and the rest of the cast and crew are at their best.

Director Chandrashekar Yeleti has done magic over the screen with the flick “Manamantha”, where all the lead characters have given the natural performances. All the four stories are shown good on the screen. Specially the relationship between Mahita and Veer was shown great, it is cute and heart touching to watch their bounding.
All the technical team have done their best and the screenplay of the movie is extraordinary which has gone well with the audience.
Verdict: Must watch flick for this weekend.
