Ram Charan has immense fans following in masses. The mega power star is trying different films of different genres with the aim of pleasing class and family audiences. The film Govindudu Andarivadele that Charan did for image makeover, dissatisfied him as it got lukewarm response owing to outdates story. Then, he scored another flop with Bruce Lee.
Irrespective of talk, Ram Charan’s films obtain record openings, especially in mass centers like Ceded. Even, GAV and Bruce Lee minted good numbers on day one in Ceded and other mass centers. However, his latest outing Dhruva is not up to the mark, even though the film received positive word of mouth.
Dhruva Ceded business was done for Rs 9 Crores. While Charan’s previous movie Bruce Lee collected a share of Rs 2.45 Crores on opening day, the latest outing Dhruva minted 2.07cr share which includes 20 lakhs of hires.
Trade pundits forecast Dhruva will provide huge losses to Ceded distributor as it got below average talk there. Why Dhruva is underperforming in Ceded and other mass areas?
Usually in zones like Ceded, movie buffs there highly enjoy mass entertainers, whereas class and family entertainers hardly get any approval.
Coming to Dhruva, the film doesn’t appeal to masses and the screenplay may not be understood easily by C and D class spectators. Operation class makeover for Charan turned unproductive like demonetization resolution by NDA Government!
