Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 is making shocking pre-release business. Overseas rights of the film have been bagged by Classic Entertainments/My3 Movies for a staggering price of Rs 10 crores. It is heard that, business for other areas has also been closed for whopping amounts.
Chiru is making comeback after long time, still overseas distributors are betting big on his film. Apparently, they hope, Chiru’s charisma would help the film to make wonders at box office.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni and Sharwanand’s Shatamanam Bhavati are also releasing for Sankranthi. But, appears like distributors main focus is on Chiru’s 150th film, out of all the pongal outings.
GPSK overseas rights were sold to 9Pm Entertainment/Red Heart Movies who earlier distributed Express Raja. They bought the rights by shelling out Rs 4.5 crores.
Blue Sky Cinemas invested Rs 3 crores to acquire Shatamanam Bhavati USA rights. It is a known fact that, Blue Sky had offered Rs 18.5 crores for overseas rights of Dil Raju’s five production ventures and Shatamanam Bhavati is one amongst them.
