Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen on screen for the first time in the film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. Only Ranbir is seen promoting the film while the other lead actors have been missing in action. According to a leading daily's report, this is an intentional strategy by the film's makers. While one speculation is that the controversy generated by the film due to the Pakistani artiste ban row following the Uri attacks, which led to surgical strikes by India, that doesn't seem to be the case. 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' cast-member Anushka Sharma has been busy shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for Imtiaz Ali's tentatively titled film, 'The Ring'. Aishwarya will reportedly be promoting the flick together with Anushka Sharma once the latter is back after shooting. A source was quoted as saying, "The strategy is that both the heroines will promote the film together. Because while Ash has a small role, Anushka is the leading lady and Ash promoting the film without her would send out wrong messages."
