Pawan May Not Fight for Special Status?
With no solid plan of action was announced during the Janasena’s Kakinada public meet today, it is understood that Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s fight for AP’s special status has been ended. Obviously, it is inevitable for him to stop the agitation.
As and when the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu was alleged to have been indulged in cash for vote scam and had sought the union government’s help to get him away from the cases, it was made out that the TDP was not in a position to fight against the union government instead of inviting the package announced by the BJP for AP state.
Pawan Kalyan might have understood that the BJP would be adamant in offering only package but not special status to AP. In that scenario, his agitation would merely a waste of time and energy. As such he hasn’t announced the date of next public meet.
On the other hand, as usually, he showed great respect and courtesy on CBN. Interestingly, he showed similar respect on bandh call of opposition parties. Not only Pawan Kalyan, social activists like Chalasani Srinivas, Sivaji and others may also likely to end their agitation of AP’s special status.
