Powerful Pushkaralu Sentiment to Janatha Garage
It was 9 July, 2003. Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Simhadri’ hit the screens like any other big hero’s film. Audience went into theaters with good but not so great expectations. Fantabulously, when the first shows were over across the state,, audiences came out of theaters with their minds got blocked with the powerful emotional element of the film. NTR’s mass performance enthralled the audience to the core.
Finally, ‘Simhadri’ stood as the second biggest grosser of the year next to ‘Tagore’ in 2003. Also, the film got 4th biggest grosser next to ‘Indra’, ‘Tagore’ and ‘Khushi’ in the top ten grossers then. Meanwhile, ‘Simhadri’ got released during Godavari Pushkaralu which held between June 30 and July 11 of 2003.
And now, NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’ is gearing up for release on September 1 with resplendent expectations everywhere. It is being speculated ‘Janatha Garage’ will be breaking opening records. First day predictions have gone up to Rs.35 crores world wide. On the other side, NTR joined movie’s promotions which got kickstarted today. If ‘Simhadri’ was released during Godavari Pushkaralu’, ‘Janatha Garage’ is releasing next to Krishna Pushkaralu. This powerful pushkara sentiment may work wonders at the ticket window.
