Balakrishna 101st Film Raithu Confirmed
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most awaited milestone 100th film ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ is already in production mode with release date locked for Pongal season. However, there is a strong discussion on Balayya’s 101st film is locked for director Boyapati Srinu. But, this news can now be completely called false because Nata Simham himself declared officially about his 101st.
Attending a Government welfare program in Anantapur, the Hindupur MLA spoke to media persons. ‘My 101st film story, script and director are under process. The movie is titled as ‘Raithu’ and director will be Krishna Vamsy,’ he announced. This should put an end to other speculations.
Film sources say, Balakrishna wants ‘Raithu’ to be a political film which should be ready for release by next Assembly elections time. Story mainly focuses on importance of primary sector agriculture and farmers in development of a state and country’s economy. ‘Raithu’ should also endorse the welfare initiatives taken by current Telugu Desam Party government in Andhra Pradesh indirectly attacking the inefficient opposition. One need to wait and see, how far ‘Raithu’ deals with Amaravathi and land pooling policy wherein fertile lands are acquired by Government for a modern capital construction.
